Deb is a local raised in the Huon Valley. Deb has worked in several Tasmanian businesses in a technical capacity, had a career change and moved into Human Resources and then spent many years in that area in a number of senior roles.
As a volunteer in the community Deb has a strong focus on youth development and for many years served as an adult staff member in the Australian Cadet Forces. Her main functions in the cadets were activity planning, administrative, finance and human resources. Deb is the current State Secretary and Public Officer of the Royal Australian Air Force Association, an ex-service membership organisation.
At MHLET Deb has the held the role of Business Manager for a number of years. She is responsible for the day to day finance functions of the office including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, insurances, budgeting, audit and financial reporting. Deb is also involved in external grants and projects and assists with Board meeting coordination.
Deb is keen to make the administrative and financial functions of MHLET as efficient as possible in order to maximise service to our members, clients and stakeholders.
